You are watching: For the people season 2 episode 7
What we know that we’re getting within this hour is a story that will kick off with a plea agreement — and one that is going to go from there on a difficult road. Sandra is going to do what she can in order to help the man at the center of the agreement, only to later realize that this may have been a mistake. There may be something so much more severe going on than she first realized.
As intense as this particular story may be, there are many others that will populate the landscape of this episode. For some more news on what’s next, we suggest that you check out the official For the People season 2 episode 7 synopsis below:
Sandra is tasked with negotiating a plea agreement for a homeless man accused of trespassing a national wildlife refuge. However, she later suspects that he might have been involved in a more serious offense and enlists Ted to help her investigate. Meanwhile, Roger and Jill’s relationship is tested when the prosecution is forced to subpoena Sandra after learning she may have further knowledge of the crime. Elsewhere, Seth starts spiraling out of control after accidentally stealing evidence in a drug case.
What’s the state of the ratings at the moment?
At the moment, we’d consider it a little bit of a mixed bag. The ratings in the 18-49 demographic are far from great, as season 2 is currently averaging only a 0.5 — a decline of more than 15% from where things were in season 1 (and this show was very much a bubble show way back when).
As for total viewers, however, there is a big victory there. The show is averaging over 3 million viewers, and that is a sizable increase from where it was in season 1. The unfortunate thing is that ABC tends to covet demo viewers more than total ones, and it’s the decline there that could be a little more troubling than anything that we’re seeing in terms of viewers.

Why are we telling you all of this now? It’s as a measure to encourage you to check out more episodes of For the People live since otherwise, it may not be around to check out down the road. We do think ABC would love to keep it due to the smart subject matter and Shondaland connections, but we are still talking about one of the network’s lowest-rated drama series and new programming head Karey Burke has no real connection or responsibility to the show.
